Even today, the population continues to suffer from a catastrophic food situation throughout the country. Destroyed infrastructure, a weakened economy, damaged agricultural land, and families living in long-term precarious conditions: these are just some of the factors contributing to widespread food insecurity among civilians. Many are unable to meet their own food needs and are dependent on aid delivered by humanitarian NGOs.

Faced with this ongoing emergency, Smile Younited is taking action to ensure that families in precarious situations (isolated, refugees, without income) have regular access to essential, dignified, and appropriate food to meet their basic needs.
